Posted on Jul 12, 2006 at 07:17 PM by I came away from the World Cup in awe of the skill of the players. I watched about 55 of the 64 games, and was riveted to most of them.
But in the last game, as I was pulling for France to win, the world-renowned Zenedine Zidane lost his head and left the world of soccer with a head butt of an Italian player.


Hopefully, he will be remembered for his skill and championships instead of this event.
But to make sure this doesn't happen, a few folks have put together an awesome video satirizing the French soccer star. You have got to see this.

The original drivers offered fantastic sound from their latest range of cards. Naturally the first thing you tend to do it look for the latest updates. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the September drivers where deeply flawed and muted the sound.

It also did horrible things to the volume controls.
Anyway, the latest update - classed as critical - fixes all the flaws and gives it a boost besides, one more justifying the 'X' for of 'X-Fi' So much so that music and games that needed to be set at 75% to be reasonably audible now blast out my speakers at a mere 10%.
If you see any bad reviews for this card, assume they used the first set of updates, because with the December patches it is firmly back on top!
