For all of its fresh indie eclecticism, the band's "dirty" pop songs strike the fundamental emotions of sports-stadium fanaticism and adolescence. "Proof of Life," the band's recently released second album helps to embellish the assortment of genres by bringing on Golden Age rapper Chuck D (of Public Enemy) and new Brazilian funkster Marina Vello (of Bonde do Role). "Grip Like a Vice," the album's opener and first single, might be the best example of the high-energy schoolyard jubilation that keeps the Go!
