They perform on stage and appear in videos in color-coordinated costumes. They state they are not costumes, but their skin. Their costumes range from suits not unlike that of Power Rangers, to kimonos, to wigs that make them look like Playmobil figures, which is where part of their Japanese Action Comic Punk routine come into play.

Another aspect of their routine is their on-stage antics such as human bowling (diving head-first into toy bowling pins), hitting each other with chairs (although not really trying to hit each other), and piggyback rides while performing. They often allow audience members on stage to join in on the fun, and often go into the audience as part of their act. Peelander-Z's music, performances, and antics are all in the sake of having fun.
