and three bedrooms! Upstairs and down are connected by a wrought-iron spiral staircase, and each level has its own bathroom, fireplace, TV and VCR. It's a terrific home for families and friends who want to spend time together but also cherish their privacy.
The chalet?s upstairs level boasts a cathedral ceiling in the main living area, a wrap-around deck with lovely views of Lake Rescue, and a luxurious hot tub on the large back deck to relax after a strenuous day of skiing or a summer hike. Downstairs has a spacious kitchen, exposed brick fireplace and beamed ceiling over the dining and living rooms.
Choose from nine ski areas within 30 miles -- the closest are Okemo, a family-friendly area just three miles down the road, and six-mountain Killington with sister Pico. Ascutney, Stratton, Bromley, Mount Snow, Magic Mountain and others are a few miles farther. Prefer cross-country?
Head out the door and onto frozen Lake Rescue, or drive to some terrific XC areas nearby. You'll also find sledding, ice-skating, snowmobiling, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing, and more right here in the Okemo Valley. Hot holiday weeks are available -- Christmas, New Year's, President's Day, MLK weekend.
