Thanks for your valuable feedback. You're probably right about the photos being quite similar. I shot without flash, but all the fanboys and girls in the front kept firing away throughout the first four songs.
So that's their flashes you see blowing out parts of the shots. And as I stated in my review, the lighting was pretty stark. I only had three songs to shoot, while everyone else with their point-and-shoots kept firing away all night.
