Thank you Greg for such an enlightened review. You are absolutley right when you state Those who deride Genesis for its simple pop songs simply aren't paying attention..
They ROCK!! Having seen every tour since 1982, I must admit that I think that this show was probably the tightest and most mighty yet!
Now if they would only get back into the studio to record anew, and how i wish upon a star that perhaps one day yet, Peter Gabriel will join his old band mates in the studio.. the world needs a new Genesis.
By the way, I really was impressed with the fact that this show really paid a respectable homage to Genesis as a whole entity, i.e. including the Genesis w/ Gabriel in it's images on the merchandise, and on the big screens.
