Britney Spears obtained permission from a Los Angeles County Court Commissioner on Thursday (October 11) to have one overnight visit per week with her two sons, after her lawyer entered a plea to have her restrictions reduced. TMZ reports that Commission Gordon has allowed Spears monitored overnight visitation with Anne Kiley, the pop star's attorney, requesting the monitor to be Spears' mother Lynne, a decision opposed by Kevin Federlines lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Kiley argued that Spears needed overnight visits to bond with her sons saying, I do think it is an emergency for them not to have overnights with their mother, which they've always had.

What possible concern can he (Kevin Federline) have if there are monitors present? Kaplan told the media after the hearing that his client agreed didn't have to but he agreed that he would allow that additional time provided there were additional assurances in place that made him feel the kids were protected. It has been reported that Spears wore sunglasses in the courtroom, with the Commissioner telling her, I understand you have a medical condition, however no further information has been released by the court or her representatives.
