Don't lose your heads over my turban

#1. Green Arrow ..

. you use the codename of a man whose personal convictions would never dream of saying the things you say. Ollie Queen is the Everyman of DC Comics.

He's the rep of the all-inclusive, heart on their sleeve lefties in America! He'd accept Hardeep to be as Scottish as he wants to feel, regardless of race, colour or creed. If you don't believe me .

.. READ THE COMICS!

!! Discount what this clown says, Hardeep.

I know how seriously you take your Scots identity having listened to you on telly! My mother is Scots, but my dad was Irish ..

. yet no-one had better tell me I'm not Scottish enough or I'll swing for them! I'm SO Scottish I get suckered into Braveheart every time I watch it!

My heart quickens at the skirl of the pipes and though I'm not a great fitba' fan, I'm desperate for Scotland to win the World Cup, so I can crow victoriously into my English cousins' faces, like they've been doing to my family for the past 40 years! The only diff between me and you, Hardeep is a turban (where do I buy me a ready made one?) and insignificant colour of my peely-wally skin!

The mention of which is daft cos I (like many others) try to get as brown as possible whenever the sun comes out! Nowadays, being Scottish is a way of thinking ..

. no matter where you're natal roots are. There are very few of us got roots going back centuries in this country, that haven't had some grafting-on from other lines in their history.

And the Lothians population is about one quarter English I believe. It doesn't really matter about nationality. It's about a state of mind .

.. and we're richer for you being part of it, Hardeep!

:) Report as unsuitable3.
