Robert, london, The problem is, too much is riding on the name. Isn't that what is killing the music. Everybody is too worried about what everybody else will think.

..let's just put some sugar on it and feed it to the masses.

It's probably the reason Robert Johnson never made it big...

errrr. Led Zepplin could have called their band Electric Gumdrop and been huge. John Evans, Houston, Texas, USA You can't run out of names any more than you can run out of songs to write.

Its just a product of the size of the online community. The larger the party you go to the more chance that someone is wearing the same shirt. alberto, Leeds, UK We figured no-one would include 'Old' in their name, and neither would they include 'Pie' and came up with Old Man Pie - slightly surreal and fun (like us).

The Americans on myspace are confused as, believe it or not, 'pie' now refers to vagina in that country following the hit film American Pie. They can't get their heads round it. Anyway, it works for us and there is (never has been) another band by the same name - hmmmm, I wonder why!
