RELEGATION issues in the Readers Romida North Wales Cricket League will go all the way to the wire next Saturday after an intriguing set of results yesterday. Bangor plunged into deep trouble in the lower echelons of the top flight as they crashed to a heavy defeat at the hands of the already crowned champions Llandudno. Llandudno hit 233-5 in 58 overs with Sam Rimmington the star of the show knocking a useful 86.

Bangor in reply could manage only 144-8 off 52 overs, Dion Smith top scoring with 44. This meant that Bangor picked up just five points from the game and travel to Mold next Saturday needing a good result to get out of trouble. Marchwiel and Wrexham are definitely relegated after slumping to a five-wicket defeat at Gwersyllt Park.
