Smashing Pumpkins add more dates to tour

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced new dates to their current North American tour – which will now keep the band on the road through mid-November. S. debut last year in Baltimore, with 40,000 fans and such acts as the Who. Now, it returns to Pimlico Race Course with an expanded, two-day lineup of big names such as the Police and Amy Winehouse.

EPA/SHAWN THEW The Pumpkins added a fourth show in Upper Darby, PA, and concerts in The Woodlands, TX; Austin, TX; Athens, GA; Greensboro, NC; Columbia, SC. The band is also set to take the stage in Miami - where they will co-headline the Bang Music Festival with Kanye West the weekend of Nov. 10.

A concert scheduled for Sept. 26 date in Boise, ID, has been canceled. Tickets have been going fast for Smashing Pumpkins concerts with sellouts in Boston and Atlanta – where the band is scheduled to play on multiple dates.
