Dallas Opera Music Director Returning

DALLAS The Dallas Opera will sign music director Graeme Jenkins, who has been in the post since 1994, to a new four-year contract, the company announced Wednesday.
Jenkins, who was born in London and studied at Cambridge University, has conducted more than 40 productions for the Dallas Opera. He has conducted productions of 100 titles worldwide.

Next season in Dallas, he will conduct a 50th anniversary gala in November, featuring Renee Fleming.
The contract is expected to be signed Thursday.
