-- Page Number: 5--> Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (D-Huntington) 16th LD is collecting used eyeglasses for "Give the Gift of Sight", an organization that collects used eyeglasses and distributes them to the poor in developing countries. Give the Gift of Sight also provides eye exams for the poor and provides new glasses in the United States.

-- Page Number: 6--> Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (D-Huntington) 16th LD recently joined Babylon Town Supervisor Steve Bellone and other elected officials to break ground for a new park for children with disabilities. The park will provide a safe and accessible place for children to play.

Kimberly Lynn Cosci and Anthony Barone became engaged December 9, 2006 under the tree at Rockefeller Center in New York City. An April 2008 wedding is planned.
Kim is a graduate of Babylon High School and the University of New Hampshire. Anthony is a graduate of Commack High School and SUNY Cortland.
