One room available in 3 bedroom house. Rent $500/mo plus about $100 in utilities. House has main (first) floor and basement.

Easy access to public transportation. There is a bus to T just down the block which gets you to downtown in as little as 15 min. Also only minutes to drive to Rt1.

Extremely nice neighborhood that is mostly families. Near by/surrounding towns include Boston, Saugus, Melrose, Malden, Medford, Swampscott. - Your room measures 12 x 11 and has a large closet.

- Tile in bathroom, kitchen, and basement. Nice wood floors everywhere else. Lots of windows also, very bright.

- Full bathroom with linen closet on main floor, half bath in basement (may be upgraded to full bath later) - Beautiful eat-in kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and disposal. Has lots of cabinets and a pantry. - Huge finished basement.

Can be used as a second living room, storage area, home gym...

whatever. - Lots of closet space through out house. - FREE Laundry in basement.

- Backyard is mostly for the owners and their son (who is special needs and non-verbal), but we can use it on occasion. They live right next door. They are extremely nice and take care of things when they need attention.

- Only need first month rent to move in. - Technically a month-to-month situation, but we are looking for people who plan to stay for at least a year. The owners ask for two months notice before you move out.

- Images available here: (let us know if the link isn't working) The furniture in the picture belongs to the current tenants. - Tricia and Kevin have some stuff for the place (and can get more if need be), but there is also room for your stuff if you have anything. There is no shortage of space in this apartment.

Things we have so far for common areas: entertainment center, coffee table, end tables, and a few other things, I don't remember what's in the attic. JP is a 34yr old male. He works in Revere 8-12hrs a day.

On his days off (currently Thursday and Sunday) he likes to go out and drink, but doesn't bring the party home with him. He currently smokes outside and is trying his best to quit (would appreciate non-smokers for this reason). He loves sports (Pats and Titans fan), movies, video games (but tries to avoid getting sucked into them), music, and poker.

Kevin and Tricia are in the other room and are a couple. Tricia is a BU Senior, Deaf Studies major (school of education). She is very involved in pep/marching band at school (go terriers!

). Kevin is 25 and works full time in Peabody and also takes two classes at North Shore Community College. We drink occasionally, but keep it to a minimum.

We are neat, responsible, and friendly (So is JP and you should be too). We both know sign language (but we are not deaf) if that is of any importance to you. In our free time, we mostly hang out at the house (usually watching TV/movies) or go out and do stuff.

Usually 'going out' for us means going to the movies, out to eat, or to check out historic or other such interesting things in the city or just taking a walk. We also enjoy camping and other outdoor activities. Sports fans, sox and pats (Kevin is a HUGE Pats fan) mostly and also enjoy playing poker from time to time.

- We are open about roommates. Male or female, doesn?t matter.

We are gay-friendly. Just please be students or young professionals. Ideally not over 30 (or not much over 30).

- Don?t need our new best friends, but would like you to be friendly and we're open to hanging out and becoming friends if it works out that way. - No drug users.

Ideally no smokers, but will consider outdoor smokers who keep the smell outside. - Occasional drinkers ok but don?t be someone who gets drunk most every night.

- Be willing to do your part to keep the place looking nice/clean in the common areas. - We are not looking for the house to be ?party central?

. Having some friends over on occasion is ok, but large groups should not be around every weekend and proper courtesy should be given in the sense of advance warning about any parties. Mostly we want home to be a relaxing place.

- As anyone renting a place, we want people who are responsible about paying their bills and rent on time. Move in Nov 1st. Owners require background and credit check.

Look forward to hearing from you. If we do not pick up, leave a message and we will get back to you.
