Nashville, TN (AHN) - Artists including Sara Evans, Trace Adkins, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson and LeAnn Rimes will be taking part in this year's CMA Music Festival, held in Nashville from June 7 to June 10. The multi-day country-music event will include 70 hours of concerts, 40 hours of autograph signings and more than 400 musicians and celebrities.
Other performers scheduled to appear at this year's festival include Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Dierks Bentley, Big Rich, Brooks And Dunn, Billy Currington, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Jo Dee Messina, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Brad Paisley, The Wreckers and Reba McEntire, who is rejoining the festival for the first time after 11 years.
"CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock," a two-hour special filmed during Nashville's CMA Music Festival, will air on ABC on July 23. This is the third time ABC will broadcast the festival since the country music event started in 1972. In addition to a number of performances, ABC will be airing several first-time personal encounters between hardcore country fans and their favorite artists.
Last year 161,000 people attended the festival. Other performers for this year's event will be announced at a later date.
