Los Angeles (ANTARA News) - Actress Drew Barrymore topped People Magazine s most beautiful list Thursday beating out past winners like Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie and Julia Roberts.
Others on the Beautiful People list include Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez.
Barrymore, 32, has appeared on the list four times in the past but the former child star and Charlie s Angels actress is not usually considered one of Hollywood s leading beauties. However, the list came out just days before the release of her new movie Lucky You by Warner Bros which is part of the same media group as People.
Barrymore appears on the cover of the magazine without makeup and lipstick saying: "I m not into those zoom-in tabloid look at her zit or her cellulite pictures, but I m always happy to be photographed without makeup.
"
Jessica Biel, Katharine McPhee and Eva Longoria were among other stars who were photographed without makeup to show their natural beauty for the special issue.
Barrymore credited her success with inner happiness.
"I just think happiness is what makes you pretty.
Period," she was quoted by DPA as saying in an interview with the magazine. "Happy people are beautiful.
They become like a mirror and they reflect that happiness.
