New York, May 11 (ANI): Singer Jennifer Lopez’s husband Marc Anthony has reportedly tightened security arrangements for his wife, following threatening mails from an animal rights extremist, who has sworn to kill her in public for wearing animal fur. It is said that the luscious diva did not pay much attention to the mails, but Anthony decided that the threats had to be taken seriously. "He has hired two off-duty police officers, in addition to her usual security team, to watch over Lopez whenever she makes public appearances," New York Daily News quoted the pal, as saying.
However, the Hispanic star’s rep denied the threat rumors saying that Lopez has always had the same security team. "[Lopez] has had the same security team she has always had," the rep said.
