Martin will donate a Dolce Gabbana jacket he wore to the cause, in the hopes that the funds raised will help achieve Oxfam's $1 million goal.
Martin's contribution will be up against some fairly high profile items, including the 2000 Donatella Versace suit Sir Elton John wore to his White Tie Tiara Ball and the dress worn by Corinne Bailey Rae in her video for "Put Your Records On".
Oxfam is a global organization founded in 1972 whose aim is to prevent and decrease inequality and poverty around the world, and especially in underprivileged nations. It is made up of 13 organizations in over 100 countries. This isn't the first time it has reached out for celebrity endorsements, as actress Keira Knightley donated the gown she wore to the Oscars for a similar auction last year.
This year's auction lasted 10 days and ended yesterday, May 3.
