LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson wants Gwen Stefani to carry him on stage at the Radio One music festival.
Radio One DJ Colin Murray has offered to carry the Leeds band on stage in Preston on Sunday May 20 but Wilson insists he would rather be carried by 'Sweet Escape' singer Stefani.
He told Radio One's Jo Whiley: "I want Gwen Stefani to carry me on stage.
She'd be perfect and we don't have any big burly guys to do it for us."
When Stefani performed at last year's Radio One Music Festival in Sunderland she was carried from her dressing room by her large bodyguard to avoid getting her feet muddy.
Wilson added: "With Gwen I think we get the best end of the deal.
"
Also performing at the event will be an all star line up including The Scissor Sisters, Mika. The Fratellis, The Klaxons, Natasha Bedingfield, Dizzee Rascal, Rihanna and Bloc Party.
