In an , reports that Paris could be out of the slammer six days earlier than her 45-day sentence. However, in order to do so she must be on her best behavior.
Do you think she can be a good girl?
Does she even deserve to go to the big house? Tell us your thoughts.
1.
I do feel a bit sorry for Paris but then again, I don't. She should've learned her lesson from the first time she'd gotten caught, then she gets caught again and who knows what would've happened if the cops did not catch her. She could've killed herself or worse, someone else and severely injured herself in the process.
She needs to learn that lesson that drunk driving is wrong, terribly wrong and she ought to serve her 45-day time with grace and humility and keep it moving. What makes her think just because she's the heir to the Hilton makes her any special not to be punished by her peers. Whether she feels that she was treated unfairly, so what.
Now, she knows how other people feel when they are treated unfairly through the justice system! I saw the petition to The Governor, and I hope sincerely that he does not pardon that petition. Paris, sweetie, as much as you make me laugh, I do not enjoy your ignorant and uncaring behavior as such as you did a few days ago and to make such a statement to make it look as if you're the victim, you're not.
You could've really hurt someone. Your life may be great, but remember you could've took someone else's life. Put Brandy in your mind.
That could've easily been you, but thank God it wasn't. It doesn't make it right that Brandy has been put in the spotlight and getting sued of a wrongful death, she has to deal with that in due time. I'm sure she's regretful of what happened, but I doubted that she was drunk behind the wheel.
Same for others and so what Busta and Eve are walking around with DUI over their heads, their time is coming too. You never know if they'll have to spend time in jail or even be on house arrest. Eve has never been in trouble with the law or as far as the public knows of been behind the wheel drunk either.
So don't use Eve has some type of excuse to get Paris of the hook. Two wrongs most definitely do not make a right. Paris, please learn your lesson and when you do your time in peace and quiet, may be you ought to take a driving class and visit with mother's whose sons and daughters were killed by a drunk driver maybe you'll be more humble about your life as well as others.
2. this will just slow her down a bit as she'll be back to her old ways once she serves her "time" at the club med/jail to the stars, etc. people everyday loose their vehicles to authorities because they have no, suspended/revoked and/or expired license(s).
..paris is no different.
..she just happened to have her situation [because of her celebrity status] plastered all over the tv and newspapers.
the jail time imposed by the judge, however, seems a little high though...
i would think a solid week in jail (real county time) would be sufficient and would probably help her see the light. though she seems to be a well-liked person in the eyes of public perception, is not above the law! 3.
lock that hoochie up! she needs to learn that she is not above the law!

Were notes passed back and forth in secret between the judge and Paris' attorney and publicist regarding the sentencing?
Last time I was in court the judge looked at the accused directly and told the accused what the sentence was. And then there is the issue that when she was caught the second time she was going 45 miles over the speed limit, after dark, no headlights - I guess she wasn't aware of laws about speeding and using headlights as well? I'm sick of the Rich B***h Entitlement attitude of this spoiled brat who thinks she is above everyone else because her family has money.
Why shouldn't the same laws apply to her as they do to the "ordinary joe" who flouts the laws and does what he pleases anyway to the potential detriment of those that choose to abide by the laws? "Ordinary Joe" would most likely get a year in the slammer, fines, court ordered A.S.
A.P. AND community service.
It's high time Paris accepted responsibility for her own actions instead of blaming others for her poor choices. Jail will be good for her.
Paris received a few threats by inmates of the "I'm gonna get you, sucka," persuasion.
This got me to thinkin' that it's not fair for Paris to serve time just like every other schnook, because whenever I spend a week in county for drunk-fighting my dad, people aren't blogging about it. I would say it receives little-to-no publicity at all. Therefor, homies on the inside don't get the heads-up and plan my sock party when I'm sleepin' in population.
I can serve my time inconspicuously and peacefully. Maybe I'd take the time to grow a mustache. Maybe make a hat to hide my face, out of some undies.
Anyway, however much people dislike Paris, she is a special case deserving of special treatment. Also, by "special treatment," I mean she should be separated from population. Maybe she should be serving homeless people at a soup kitchen everyday for a few months.
Loves it!
8. "Ignorance of the law is no defense.
" Paris cannot truthfully deny she did not know she was driving on a suspended license because the previous traffic ticket for parole violation was in her car's glovebox when she was stopped the second time for violating her parole. The ticket, which Paris signed, clearly stated that her license was suspended. What, Paris cannot read?
Give me a break! What amazes me more, though, is that her mother, Kathy Hilton, heckled the District Attorney and the Judge and got away with it! Beyond that, I do not know how any self-respecting lawyer could file an obviously frivilous appeal of the judge's order for a 45-day jail sentence.
Paris' first violation of the law was reckless driving with a .08 blood alcohol level (legally intoxicated). She pled no contest, which is the same as admitting guilt.
Yet, instead of taking responsibility to follow the judge's order, Paris never attended the court-mandated alcohol education class, refused to undertake any community service, drove 25 mph over the speed limit without headlights on a suspended license, and was late to court, among other things. The trial judge was more than patient and lenient with Paris, but she simply ignored the Court's order, which is called contempt of court for which a judge is entirely warranted to throw the offender in jail. The trial judge has done nothing wrong, but Paris and her parents have, and they now need to face the consequences.
The Court of Apeal should sanction both Paris and her attorneys with a public reprimand and a huge fine for both of them for filing a frivilous appeal. Then the trial judge should increase her jail time to at least 90 days for flouting the legal system. This nonsense can no longer be tolerated.
9. I pray every single night and every single morning that God will deliver the full sentence to Paris. She is a horrid human being and she deserves so much more than just jail time.
She simply does not seem to understand that she is a person who is subject to the laws just like the rest of us. Her mother's reaction says much about how she was raised and the family's feeling of entitlement. Don't forget that she could hire drivers to take her everywhere; a luxury normal people don't enjoy.
Get ready prison ladies, a tasty little treat comes your way! 10. Let's see .
.. 6) Pulled over once, let off with a verbal warning that she was driving with a license that was revoked 7) Pulled over the second time with a license that was revoked, with one of the notices in her car Please, tell me what I'm missing.
This person clearly believes that she can do whatever she wants, without regard to the law or the safety of others (driving over the legal alcohol limit at 70 MPH is clearly a danger to others -- so says the law of the land). Once it's clear that she'll be held accountable, she suddenly becomes "remorseful" and claims jail time will be "hellish." promotional comments may be removed.
