As I watched the movie 'Babel', I could not help but shed tears at an ambient piece of music that played when the japanese teenagers were having some fun out in the city; that tune was very moving...

and it so happens to be a track in this very album: 'Only Love Can Conquer Hate'. It really is a beautiful track. Ryuichi layers a soothing ambient/sonic texture with some contrasting soundscapes - clearly capturing and expressing the meaning of the track's title - where the love really conquers the hate.

So true!! This is a good collection of remixes.

The radio edit is a good example of contemporary synthpop. However, Jay Cox's mix is the one to watch out for. It captures that happy disco feel.

The vocals are well laid over the track. A fabulous album! The music here is well ahead of its time and would still sound fresh on today's dancefloors.

Psykosonik also composed the soundtrack for the cult favourite SNES videogame 'X-Kaliber 2097'. The game actually featured 16-bit renditions of tracks from this album which also sounded great! Most notable BGM tunes were 'Welcome To My Mind' and Technojihad'.

This album combines classic techno with rock and vocal elements unmatched by most contemporary producers. And theres some emotion thrown into the music, too. A must listen to album!

'Running Around Town' is a fine collaboration by BT and Billie Ray Martin. BT's good production skills are very evident in all of his workings of this single. The original song is great especially with Billie's soulful vocals.

Of the two remixes done by BT, the Shelter mix is the better one - thats not to say that the other one is bad. The Shelter mix is a classic example of US 'speed garage' house. It is very reminiscent of Armand van Helden's style of house music and this release is from about the same time this speed garage stuff became famous.

Interesting. This is the US version of the album. The best part about this version is that all tracks are unmixed, just like a classical artist album.

The hip-hop tracks ('Madskillz - Mic Chekka' and 'Love on Haight Street') are, for me, the highlights of this disc. BT's come up with tracks so varied to the style of the previous two albums. 'Love on Haight Street', in particular has a wonderful loop in it.

The US version of Dreaming is also noteworthy. All in all , a solid collection of rap, breakbeat and trance grooves.
