| AC/DC - Back in Black (mp3) - Okay, if you want to be technical, black's not a color. But this is a great head-banging, energizing song. (And it was used to great effect on Supernatural. ) I use this song for working out; it's fabulous. All of AC/DC is pretty good for this sort of thing, being a hard rock band. "Back in Black" is, somewhat unsurprisingly, a track on the very successful album Back in Black, which also contains the equally great "You Shook Me All Night Long. " Buy Back in Black (amazon). | Blue and Yellow - The Used While I'd recommend little else by this band, this song is an almost perfect ode of the frusteration of trying to express yourself to someone who is fundamentally different then you. The title refers to the artistic concept of 'complimentary harmony' where two colors are direct opposites, but when placed together seem brighter. Buy The Used |

| A Perfect Circle - Passive Clean, smooth, vocals, and lots of restrained angst. Menacing without being stupid scary. | I haven't seen these uploaded yet: Indigo Girls, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Forgive me if they've already been posted, but they're a couple of my absolute favorites. (And has no one posted Ohio yet?) One Tin Soldier by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. A '60s-era anti-war song covered by a modern punk group.
