"A lot has changed in the past week," Doherty added. He didn't say whether the change involved his relationship with supermodel Kate Moss, 33, or had anything to do with his April 12 concert appearance with Carl Barat, his former partner in the Libertines. At the same concert, Doherty referred to Moss as his fiancee.
Appearing before District Judge Jane McIvor at Thames Magistrates' Court, Doherty indicated he still wasn't clean. "I'm quite keen to show a negative test as soon as possible, really," Doherty said.
The judge commented that Doherty, who arrived 30 minutes late, was under no obligation to appear.
"There's no obligation for you to turn up to the reviews. The fact you've turned up shows cooperation -- more than cooperation -- and there is no risk of you breaching this order.
