Collectively, they have sold more than 300 million records. They travel with stylists, nannies, managers and personal trainers, their costumes are designed by the biggest names in couture and their dressing rooms are filled with everything they desire on tour.
When they're not performing in concerts costing as much as $10 million to stage, they're endorsing Coke or Pepsi, launching perfumes, clothing and lingerie, acting in Hollywood films and promoting toy dolls in their likeness.
They are, of course, the reigning divas of music, and Sydney is now an essential tour date on their concert calendars.
Australian audiences are incredibly lucky to have so many strong female rock acts touring here,'' says Michael Gudinski, the promoter behind Kylie Minogue's spectacular Showgirl Homecoming tour and Christina Aguilera's upcoming series of concerts.
At the moment, the girls seem to be outnumbering - and outclassing - the boys.
''
First up is the bootylicious Beyonce, whose sold-out concerts in Sydney launched her world tour.
Beyonce has previously toured Sydney with Destiny's Child and then unofficially last year with boyfriend Jay-Z, who is tipped to be heading up her entourage in Australia.
Everyone in Australia will see the tour fresh and it's the place to do that,'' Beyonce says.
I love a show that entertains. People come to see the sparkle and the stars shine. So I want to give them something to remember.
''
Beyonce is especially excited about her costumes, which are designed by Robert Cavalli and her own label, House of Dereon.
It's very futuristic, but also from the '60s,'' the singer says.
However, this hardly compares with the shows of Kylie Minogue, who travelled with half a truckload of feathers borrowed from the Lido in Paris and had Dolce and Gabbana design some of her show-stoppers when she toured Australia in November.
Hot on Beyonce's high heels is Pink, who will perform at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on April 30.
Pink, who has previously travelled with an on-call nipple piercer as part of her entourage, is bringing husband Corey Hart to keep her company on the road, although her pet rats, Thelma and Louise, are, like Stallone's steroids, unlikely to make it through Australian Customs.
The tour, which has sold 240,000 tickets, will feature stripper cops, burlesque and flamenco dancers, giant feathers, and Pink's trademark bikini and boots as she is suspended over the stage in a giant net.
Touring can suck, but it can be a hell of a lot of fun,'' Pink says. Concerts are when I put my s*** in motion and I can shut out the world for an hour and a half.''
Not to be outdone is Christina Aguilera, who arrives on July 24 with 25 performers, including dancers trained in fire-throwing, trapeze-swinging, stilt-walking and acrobatics.
Her concert spectacular has 10 costume changes, and at one point Aguilera sings on a giant carousel horse.
But there are also some sober moments when she sings a tribute to her mother - who was abused by Aguilera's father - with a graphic film of domestic violence shown in thebackground.
Call me biased,'' Gudinski says, but I honestly think that as a solo act Christina has no rival.
he's got the huge voice, a massive show and a sassiness on stage that you just can't manufacture.''
Fans of Gwen Stefani may disagree. She's playing Sydney's Acer Arena on July 30 for her first Australian tour.
The diva and style icon had hoped to tour here during her 2005 world tour, but fell pregnant with son Kingston.
The costumers had to keep letting out my costumes but nobody knew I was pregnant,'' Stefani says.
They thought I was getting fat.
I felt gross, but all the kids in the audience made me feel like Cinderella.''
This time, Gwen is bringing Kingston with her, and husband Gavin Rossdale is coming, too.
Also back on board are the Harajuku Dancers, named Love, Angel, Baby and Music.
This is her second concert spectacular, but Stefani is amazed by the costs involved.
I have so many ideas and I get frustrated by budgets because everything costs so much,'' she admits. Five-thousand dollars for tap pants!
Are you kidding? Fortunately, financials aren't my job.''
Making money singing is, and Australia is about to make her even richer.
