LABOR foreign affairs spokesman Kevin Rudd says Australia's new industrial relation's laws are "un-Christian" and has called on church leaders to speak out against the Government.
Mr Rudd has written a 5000 word essay for the October issue of magazine The Monthly, in which he calls on churches to take a more active role in politics.He also advocates an alternative vision for Australia shaped by Christian values in which the family unit comes ahead of work and industry.
ldquo;This is a fight back on our part, rdquo; Mr Rudd told ABC TV last night.
