The Players Guild Theatre will close its 2006-07 season with the musical comedy "Mame," May 18 through June 3 on the Mainstage. This show, with a score by Jerry Herman, revolves around a fun-loving, wealthy Manhattan eccentric whose life changes when she becomes the guardian of her late brother's only child. The cast includes Sharon Lloyd as Mame Dennis, James Thomas Huffer Cole as young Patrick, Lisa Belopotosky as Vera Charles, Janet McGregor Jones as Vera Charles, and Mark Adkins as Beauregard Burnside.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.

m. Tickets, $17 for adults and $12 for students, may be ordered at (330) 453-7617 or . There will be an opening-night party in the Great Court following the May 18 performance.

For $10, guests will be treated to a night in the roaring '20s with big-band music, dancing, appetizers and a cash bar. The party will last until midnight and '20s costumes are encouraged. Advance reservations are required.
