Fans hoping for a Libertines reunion will have to wait, as Carl Barat says he has no plans to rejoin with ex-bandmate Pete Doherty any time soon.
After the pair left audiences at the Hackney Empire drooling when they teamed up for An Evening with Pete Doherty last week, there were rumours they might be reforming their much-loved group.
However, Barat put an end to all the gossip.
Speaking to the NME, he said: 'Are there any plans for more? Not really. I'm really into the new stuff I'm writing.
'
Which is just as well really, as Pete's reportedly a master of losing money.
According to the Mirror, Mr Kate Moss is practically broke after 'losing more than 20,000' in botched business projects.
The wayward rocker actually managed to make a loss of 21,731 from touring with new band Babyshambles, while his other business Babyshambles Limited made a profit of just 1,910.
A source told the paper: 'His accounts don't make pretty reading.
'To see someone with his talent unable to make any money is a waste. What money he has had has been spent on drugs.
'
And in another doomed business idea, Pete reckons the world hasn't had quite enough of the Moss / Doherty love affair and wants to put it all to music.
Last week, he admitted he had put a video of him and Kate singing together on YouTube, hoping to attract interest from record companies and land the gruesome twosome a record deal.
