Are the ChartAttack staff members the only people who think that judge Jane McIvor has some sort of secret crush on Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty?
The judge at Thames Magistrates' Court in London has a long history of on the troubled artist, who has a record of drug convictions and other legal problems too long to recap here. She showed her soft spot for Kate Moss' beau again on Wednesday, when he attended a review of his drug treatment order related to a sentence imposed last April.
Doperty showed up 30 minutes late for the hearing, but McIvor told him that he wouldn't have had to show up in person at all. "The fact you've turned up shows co-operation more than co-operation and there is no risk of you breaching this order."
McIvor made this bold statement despite the fact that Doperty continues to and , and hasn't had a negative drug test yet.
But that should change, he assured the court.
"I'm quite keen to show a negative test as soon as possible," Doperty said, without making such promises about his drug buddies.
