Ozzy Osbourne may look like he's over the hill, but he still has a lot of energy flowing through his veins.
The 58-year-old metal pioneer will unleash his ninth solo studio album, Black Rain, on May 22 via Epic Records. Samples of lead single "I Don't Wanna Stop" and "Not Going Away," "Thank God For The Almighty Dollar," "Civilize The Universe," "Black Rain," "Countdown's Begun" and "Trap Door" can be heard on his .

Kevin Churko (Britney Spears, Celine Dion) co-produced the album with Osbourne. The musicianship was provided by the Black Sabbath co-founder's touring band: guitarist Zakk Wylde, drummer Mike Bordin and bassist Blasko.
"It's a well-put-together album," says Osbourne.

"I think it's evident that it hasn't been just slapped out and put down"
Initial pressings of Black Rain will include a code that will give fans the chance to pick up two free Ozzfest tickets via a special on June 8, four days before they're made available to the general public. The Live Nation-produced tour will be a free, sponsor-driven affair, where the bands won't get paid.
Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, Lordi, Mondo Generator, Ankla, Circus Diablo, Nile, The Showdown, 3 Inches Of Blood, Daath, Chthonic and In This Moment have all been confirmed to play.

Don't look for Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age on the bill, considering that Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon Osbourne hopes that "he gets syphilis and dies." She blasted a STD-spirited tirade against Homme in the June issue of Blender, saying, "I hope his dick fuckin' falls off so his mother can eat it," after he told the magazine that his band will never play Ozzfest again because "they treat the bands like shit."
Osbourne will launch a world tour that starts in Moscow, Russia on May 27 and goes until July 6.

The 12th annual Ozzfest begins in Seattle on July 12. There are no Canadian dates.
