My wife and I live in Brookline, in one of the best neighborhoods in Boston area, in the big brick house on a quiet street, next to the Brokline High School, walking distance from the Coolidge Corner, 1/4 mile from the Brookline Hills stop of the MBTA Green D-line. We recently renovated the whole house, the room that we can offer you is new inside out - walls, floor, ceiling, windows, entire bathroom are new. The room is on the 2nd floor, it has 3 windows facing the backyard of our house and backyard of our quiet neighbors, 2 retirees.

The room size is 12 by 13 feet, the bathroom is unusually big - 8 by 9, there is a big closet, it is fully furnished, but you can bring your own furniture or add some. The room has a kitchenette with a 2 by 4 feet granite table, 5 cubic feet refrigerator with a freezer compartment, microwave, very efficient double electric hot plates, Ultravection Oven. Our house is located in a quiet residential area but it is only couple of blocks to any store or service that you may need like laundry, cleaning, food stores, etc.

We are walking distance from the Coolidge Corner, 10-15 minutes. We are 3-4 minutes walk from the Brookline Hills stop of the MBTA Green D-line that is 2 stops from the Reservoir - Cleveland Circle station. Everything (electricity, heat, central air, water) is included in the rent except for the telephone service, but many people use only their mobile phones anyway.

You will have to pay for extra channels of a cable TV if you want them, but basic channels are included. Also, the whole house has a very fast wireless cable internet connection that can be used for additional modest fee. Additional pictures of the room are available by request.

At this point we don't have parking available. We are looking for a quiet single person, non smoker, no pets, one year lease.
