With the tabloid press still lambasting Pete Doherty over his drug use the singer/songwriter took another step to recapturing his former glories last night, reuniting with childhood friend and Libertines co-star Carl Barat for a night of live performance. The British indie idols were back together on stage for the first time in three years after a very public split in 2004 following Doherty's drug descent, performing 13 Libertines songs to a rapturous audience. Doherty was playing the last of his run of live performances this week which had seem him share the stage with girlfriend, supermodel Kate Moss.
