The Celtic supporters give their heroes a big welcome to what would turn out to be a memorable match.

This was to be a tough encounter as Nakamura soon found out, but the Celtic players held firm for victory.

Goal!

Kenny Miller scores after picking up a mis-hit shot by Nakamura. One up with half an hour to go!

Ten minutes later - another goal!

Miller scores his second! The end of a fine piece of play from Maloney. Surely Celtic will be able to hold on for victory this late in the game.

Maloney was one of Celtic's best players on the night. His pace and skill frustrated the Benfica players for the entire match.

In the 90th minute - three-nil!

Pearson came on a short time before as substitute to put the final nail in Benfica's coffin.

Evander Sno and Lee Naylor celebrate at the end of the game. This result is a giant step towards the last sixteen of the Champion's League and every Celtic player and supporter knows it.

Thank you Scotsman! You do some great footballing photos. What about more of those lovely pics of the Rangers fans a split second after the opposing team has just scored against them?

I could spend all day studying those, going from face to lovely face to intelligent face to pleasant fizog...

..
kenny miller you were outstanding last night as were all the others, truly proffessional perfomance.

It seems the old firm hatred of transferring between the two clubs can be overcome. Kenny Millar is now a Celtic hero.
No images on screen just a red cross Help!

!!
Cannot see the pictues but hey i see us winning every time I close my eyes.

Our Flag will fly in European skies
Ian Rutherford takes some nice pictures of red crosses. I would prefer to see some football pictures.
i can appreciate how painful this is for Rangers fans that Celtic are doing so well, and we still have a few gears to go up.

Its maybe better that all that can be seen is red crosses. Be encoutaged though as nothing lasts for ever and in the meantime if you can catch Hearts over the next few years then you have a chance to play in the big bhoys football competitions instead of the diddy cup. Its comforting to know that Celtic are by default helping you out of your debt and allowing you Rangers football club to prosper.

Who says there is a divide between the old firm?
Where ar the pictures? Would love to see that stuff.

..
Every time I close my eyes I can see the Saltire flying in Scottish skies.
