As Ozzy Osbourne's new single, "I Don't Wanna Stop," begins to permeate the radio airwaves today, the news is out that fans who buy special copies of his upcoming album, Black Rain, will get the first crack at Ozzfest tickets. A limited number of specially marked copies of the album will contain a code for a first chance at seats for this summer's free Metal festival. The specially marked copies will be available at participating retailers on May 22, the day the album drops.
Fans will then use the code found in the packaging when they log onto Ozzfest.com to redeem two tickets. This code will enable Ozzy fans to then visit Livenation.
com/ozzfest and have the first chance to secure Ozzfest tickets to the show of their choice beginning Friday, June 8, which is prior to the June 12 date when tickets will be available to the general public. As previously reported, bands on this year's tour include Ozzy, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Lordi, Behemoth, Mondo Generator, Nile, Ankla, Circus Diablo, The Showdown, 3 Inches of Blood, Daath, Chthonic and In This Moment. The 24-city tour will launch on July 12 in Seattle, and will also hit George, WA, Sacramento, Mountain View, CA, Devore, CA, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Denver, Kansas City, Dallas, San Antonio, St.
Louis, Columbus, OH, Tinley Park, IL, East Troy, WI, Indianapolis, Holmdel, NJ, Hartford, CT, Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Charlotte and West Palm Beach, FL.
