The most important accomplishment for Houston from this divorce is gaining custody of her teenage daughter. Houston told the court that Bobby Brown was unreliable that it would be a mistake to leave their daughter with him. Brown wouldn't let the sentence be, so he's going to appeal the judge's decision soon.
The two got married in 1992 it was a bumpy ride through-out those 14 years.
Brown was jailed a few times Houston checked into rehab a couple of times!
Houston filed for divorce in October 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.

at April 5, 2007 04:36 PM Whitney Houston is, without a qusetion, one of the best female voices within the industry. I have always been a fan of her music.
But her, in terms of character especially at times of her drug addiction, was very terrifying.
She went through a lot, and her daughter had to struggle and cope with it, and she's only a teenager. Let's hope that it won't happen again.
In the case of Whitney, new image, new look, new her, and hopefully new album.
