Some of our would-be American Idols got the rhythm Tuesday night while others stomped it into the ground.
Tony Bennett added a touch of class and sophistication to the show. He also gave the best advice of all the guest judges to date.
The trophy for best vocal performance goes to Melinda Doolittle (again) for I ve Got Rhythm. She wasn t nearly as boring as last week.
Of course, the theme basically handed it to Doolittle and LaKisha Jones on a silver platter.
Jordin Sparks was a magnet of joy On a Clear Day rounding out the top three performances. While Chris Richardson began to beat back his nasally tendencies, it still wasn t as inspiring.
Next week, Jenny comes to the Idol block.
