Queens tour kicks off in London on June 14 and ends in Glasgow at the T in the Park festival on July 8.

Case and Bejar will not appear with the band on their currently scheduled dates, but they hope to have at least Case join them when they tour in support of the new album in the fall.
Add another flake to the recent flurry of news: the once-illustrious, still-nebulously-realigned alt-rock behemoths have scheduled their first non-festival date since (of sorts) late last year. Yeah, it s in France, but that s not likely to dissuade Pumpkins diehards, who d sail the vast oceans and crawl over scorched earth to get a glimpse of whatever configuration the band finds itself in. Tickets for this, the first Pumpkins show since December of 2000, can be yours April 11.

The Flaming Lips song is called Spiderman vs. Muhammad Ali !!

The soundtrack was produced by Dave Sardy (Walkmen, LCD Soundsystem, Oasis, Wolfmother). So far, the only song that s available is the Snow Patrol one, which can be streamed below. is so much better.
Some stills from the just-completed, video for s Elephant Gun have crept onto the interweb, and boy do they If our eyes aren t deceiving us, at least one scene in this video manages to combine a game of dominatrix horsey, bondage, voyeurism/exhibitionism, and creepy mustaches, a praise-worthy feat for any arguably Beirut s finest moment to date-- while produced. Maps, confetti, and choreography also appear to feature prominently in the promo. Though a few high-profile placements on video game soundtracks and their wacky, Can-culled name helped them weather the storm that swallowed up so many of the early-century s garage rock revivalists, the last few years haven t been kind to the fellas of the . They parted ways with two labels, Columbia and the V2, and the band began to crumble, losing guitarist Graham Tyler in the shuffle.
So it s nothing short of a miracle that the Suzuki are alive and well enough to announce the very existence of their fifth LP Have Mercy, due out June 19 on the brand new , which is part of the . Despite all the electric flop-sweat that went into its inception, Suzuki frontman Sammy James Jr. describes the ten-song set as upbeat and peppy in a press release.
