CANADIAN songstress Issa, young New York cabaret sensation Tony DeSare, and rising European music theatre stars Isabelle Georges and Frederik Steenbrink are among artists announced today for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
The festival will run from June 8 to 23 with more than 450 local and international artists performing in 68 different shows, artistic director Julia Holt said.
Twelve international artists will be appearing in Australia for the first time, while eight new shows have been created especially for the festival.
Other highlights include US cabaret star Michael Feinstein, multi-talented British music theatre performer and director Jeremy Sams, and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra playing the music of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.
