ShipRock Management puts on Superior Hiking Trail benefit concert

Duluth - ShipRock Management is coordinating a benefit concert at UMD on March 23 to help raise money to finish the Duluth section of the Superior Hiking Trail. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the hiking trail, with a goal of donating $10,000.
The event will further help to educate a large portion of the local youth in our community about the Superior Hiking Trail, and how people can take advantage of this incredible trail system in our backyard.


The event will start with an outdoor Expo at UMD from 11 - 3 p.m. The main event (the concert) takes place at 7:30 p.

m. Bands include: Noble
Haze, Trampled by Turtles, and the White Iron band. The event is open to the public.

Tickets are $8, or $10 at the door. Tickets are available at Pizza Luce, Electric Fetus UMD Stores.
ShipRock Management is a local property management company.

The owners of ShipRock (Andy Weyrauch Blake Shippee) have strong local ties, and are always looking for ways to help good causes in our community, and ways to help keep UMD graduates to stay in the area. Past fund raiser include raising money for transportation to and from school for low income students, raising money for a program to help promote literacy, and "Beacon To The Bayou" which raised over $13,000 for the Hurricane Katrina relie fund.
