Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Coldplay have hired Timbaland to produce their new album.
The British band have asked the hip-hop mogul to take the helm on their upcoming fourth record and help them come up with a fresh sound.
Timbaland is thrilled the group, fronted by Chris Martin, have chosen him to be their producer and insists he cannot wait to get "into their heads.

"
He said: "I will try to get into their heads, to see what they thinking about. I will just try to figure out how they are feeling. And if they are feeling a certain way, I will go by that.

It's more about everyday life then it is about music."
Timbaland has worked with some of the biggest names in pop, including Missy Elliott, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez and P Diddy.
"Promiscuous" and "Maneater.

"
Chris co-wrote Nelly's song "All Good Things (Come to an End)" with the Canadian singer, Timbaland and Nate "Danja' Hills. He originally recorded backing vocals on the track but his record label EMI allegedly stopped the version from being released.
