Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, two of the band's founding members, and Phil Collins, Genesis' drummer and lead vocalist, will have their first stop in Toronto in September. Peter Gabriel, the band's lead vocalist when it formed on the '60s, will not be participating in the tour.Promoter Michael Cohl said in a statement, "Genesis is absolutely one of the world's most exciting bands of all time.
"They have always been an amazing concert experience and I'm thrilled that fans will be able to see them perform again live for the first time in 15 years."
The tour has thirteen stops, with the last performance in Los Angeles. Tickets start at $75.
It will be followed by a tour of Europe starting in June.
