Annie Lennox back in late 2007 | Sound Generator

Grammy winning producer Glen Ballard has revealed details of Annie Lennox's new solo album, which he is currently putting the finishing touches to for a planned winter release. Ballard, who plotted the career of Alanis Morissette in her early days, tells Billboard Lennox's latest solo set, which is still untitled, will be an album close to the former Eurythmics singer's heart. "It's a very intense record," he says.

"It's very personal to her. We spent a lot of time making sure the music was the way she wanted it." The album is Lennox's first in four years, following 2003's "Bare".
