5 batting spot, away from his regular No.3, after averaging 74 with the bat in six matches so far this season. Brad Hodge, one of three players from the state with the second-highest representation, Victoria, was a clear choice for No.
3, averaging 85.
Jaques, who has 900 runs from 10 matches, was the top-rating opener with 84 per cent of the vote, but only one percentage point ahead of Chris Rogers, who topped the scoring list with 1202 runs award.

MacGill was the only spinner wickets from nine matches.
Katich as captain and Haddin as his deputy, although Haddin stepped differences in the two men's approach.
The most popular selection was Victoria's David Hussey, the season's second-highest scorer with 911 runs at 53, gaining 92 per cent of the vote.
