What: The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will be sponsoring "Beginning Ballroom Dance" classes. Participants in the five-week class will have the opportunity to learn dances such as the polka, jitterbug, two-step, waltz, fox trot and others to the big band music of the 1940 and '50s. A partner is required to participate.

Therefore, only couples are encouraged to register. Singles may put their name on a waiting list to be matched with a partner as registration permits.
Where: Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center, 225 Third Ave.

When: Classes will be held weekly from 7:30-9:30 p.

m. on Thursdays beginning Thursday.
Cost: $30 per person Instructors: John Kersten, Robyn Ewalt and Jackie Griffiths.
