A 28-year-old Milford, Calif. woman claims Kid Rock assaulted her. According to the Oakland Press, a report has been filed with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department and the alleged assault is under investigation.
In the article, Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe said the rock star invited the unnamed woman and a man to his home to listen to music after meeting them at a bar-restaurant in Clarkston, Calif. McCabe said members of the group admitted to drinking the night of the alleged assault. According to the allegations, the woman attempted to leave at which point Kid Rock became enraged because he wanted her to spend the night.
It is further alleged the musician grabbed her by the back of the neck and pushed her towards her car, causing her to fall into a snow bank. According to a statement, Kid Rock admitted he had the woman over to listen to his new album. He claims that when she became obnoxious he asked her to leave and she claimed she would have him charged with assault.
