Genesis Announce North American Tour Dates

Genesis held a press conference this morning to unveil details of the North American leg of their 2007 Turn It On Again reunion tour. The trek kicks off in Toronto on September 7, with 13 dates announced thus far through mid-October. The largest gig on the itinerary is a September 27 date at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

The lineup for Genesis on this tour consists of Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, with sidemen Chester Thompson and Daryl Stuermer. As previously reported, Peter Gabriel declined the opportunity to join the band on this tour.
A massive box set entitled Genesis: 1976-1981 is due from Rhino Records on April 24, with two more sets on the way.

The band will also be honored at the VH1 Rock Honors ceremony on May 24.
, the European dates for the Turn It On Again tour were unveiled, which runs from June 11 to July 14.
