The Stooges initially regrouped in 2003 and recorded four songs for front man Iggy Pop's solo album, Skull Ring. But Pop said he and brothers Ron and Scott Asheton didn't want to hurry their own record.

The band will be on tour throughout the year, including March 17 at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.
