NASHVILLE, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A retired FBI agent who specializes in polygraphs gave Alison Clinton a lie-detector test yesterday, testing her denial of claims that she had an affair with country music star Sara Evans' estranged husband, Craig Schelske.
Alison Clinton, Evans' personal assistant, co-president of her fan club and aspiring vocalist has demanded a public apology from the country music star.

Clinton's lie detector results will be released on the #1 and #2 syndicated entertainment news programs ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and THE INSIDER.
Kendall Sholl, a former FBI agent with a master's degree in polygraph, administered the test, asking direct and difficult questions about Clinton's alleged relationship with Craig Schelske.
"I told people I would take this test to demonstrate my honesty and integrity," Clinton said.

"I also thought it was important for someone else to pick the polygraph expert and not be hand-picked by me or my attorney. I remain saddened and surprised by Sara's attempt to drag me into what should have been her private matter. I will continue to fight to clear my name and protect my family, who has been hurt by these accusations.

Nothing short of a complete retraction and apology from Sara will suffice."
Clinton was blindsided last week when she was named in the divorce documents as having been one of 11 alleged reasons for the impending divorce of Evans and Schelske.
Clinton has categorically denied the allegations which have generated worldwide media interest.

Clinton has hired Ronnie Berke, Past President of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, to obtain a retraction and public apology. Earlier this week, Clinton's attorney sent a tersely written letter to Evans' lawyer, demanding a public retraction and laying the groundwork for a multi-million dollar lawsuit if an Evans' retraction is not forthcoming.
Evans was the matron of honor at Clinton's wedding this past July and her children were the flower girls and ring bearer.

Mr. Schelske was a groomsman.
