March 6, 2007 (Sawf News) – Mariah Carey has decided to shed her diva image for her next project as she stars in the upcoming movie Tennessee. In the movie, the usually sexy and provocative singer stars as an aspiring country singer who escapes from her abusive husband to go live with her two brothers in Nashville. Whilst on location in Dunlap, Carey has been out and about, entertaining crew and locals at a local bar the Second Fiddle.
Director Aaron Woodley, crew and locals were moved to tears when Carey performed “Right To Dream” with harmonica player Mickey Raphael, a song she co-wrote, at a local bar. “People were weeping on the crew when she sang it," Woodley told The Tennessean. "It's very moving, especially in the context of the film and her character.
