Utah Symphony to tackle Mahler's Symphony No. 7 For the first time since Maurice Abravanel conducted it in the Salt Lake Tabernacle in 1976, the Utah Symphony - this time with Keith Lockhart at the helm - will play Mahler's Symphony No. 7.
The concert continues a long Utah Symphony tradition of performing Mahler's work. The music takes listeners on a journey from dusk to dawn, with many dramatic moments in between.
