Despite conflicting reports, Us has learned that John Mayer will be spending his Thanksgiving holiday in the Big Apple, and that rumors of a holiday vacation with Jessica Simpson were inadvertantly sparked when the two were spotted together at Los Angeles International Airport on their way out of town. Mayer's rep laughs off the idea that the Grammy-winning singer might be making secret plans to go to Texas for Thanksgiving and tells Us exclusively, "A press release was issued several weeks ago stating that after his appearance on the American Music Awards on Tuesday, November 21, John would be flying to New York for his third consecutive Thanksgiving performance on The Late Show with David Letterman," she confirms.
